ABOUT US

Richard Johannsen has extensive experience in tax services, auditing, and financial consulting, including business planning. His experience includes a broad range of industries including real estate, construction, medical professions, retail, law, and agriculture.

Richard graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After several years as a tax accountant, not-for-profit auditor, and governmental auditor for a CPA firm, he went into practice for himself.

 

Richard holds a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification from the State of Idaho, Life and Health Licenses from the Idaho Department of Insurance. Richard is a former Adjunct Professor for the Department of Finance at Boise State University where he served five years before leaving to focus on his clients.

 

Richard has a passion for coaching kids sports and is the founder of the Idaho Inferno Basketball League here in the Treasure Valley. He also participates in a weekly bowling league with friends. Richard enjoys travelling. His favorite trips are cruising to the Caribbean and Mexico, weekend basketball tournaments, and Disneyland with his wife and six children.
